Q: What are the "2008 Strobe Sessions?"

A: The Strobe Sessions are a way for a wide variety of musicians and creative individuals to network, interact and hone their particular creative skills.   These creative outlets consist of (but not limited to) musicians, performance artists, photography, video capture, audio recording and web design.   

Q: Is the Strobe Sessions open to the public?

A: No, the series is being held on an invite only basis, there is no cost to attend but there is a guest listing of invitees that is checked at the door for each session.   Please do not show up unless you have been invited for the current months sessions - if you are not on our list you may not be let in.

Q: How can my band or act participate in the "Strobe Sessions?"

A: The sessions are by invite only.   Please send your demos or any performance information to info@stroberecording.comfor consideration.

Q: What happens to the photos, video and audio that are captured during each performance?

A: After each performance we will be posting photos' of each session on our website and additionally posting 2 songs (1 for each months act) on "YOU TUBE" for your viewing pleasure.   An audio mix of the entire performance will also be available to the musicians at no cost.  

Q: Do the artists get paid?

A:   We will be having a donation cup for the musicians at each session - this money will be distributed evenly amongst the musicians.   All other work is volunteer and there will be no direct payment for services rendered.   However, the artists are free to use the images, video and audio capture for their own self promotion

Q: Will Strobe be putting together a compilation album and DVD?

A: Yes, the plan is to have a compilation CD and accompanying DVD once we have a few sessions captured.   More news to come so check back often!
