Strobe Recording is lowering our hourly and day rates for the “2011 Summer” featuring our Hybrid Analog/Digital Recording Technique* as part of our discount! In addition Strobe Recording is offering an “After Hours” discount for recording times booked between 10 pm CST and 9 am CST. See below for rates and pricing.

Strobe Recordings Hybrid Analog/Digital Recording Technique* allows our clients the ability to track and record to the rich and warm sounds of analog tape while still maintaining the cost and functional benefits from the digital realm (AKA ProTools). This process records/tracks the performances directly to analog tape while simultaneously sending the post tape output from the tape head directly into Digidesign ProTools (via the “Repro” head). This technique does not require purchasing expensive analog tape as all the tape costs are included in day and hourly rates. Please note that Strobe Recordings Summer 2011 Discounts only apply for recording times booked between June 1st and September 1st 2011. See below for rates and pricing.

Summer 2011 Discount Rates (9 am – 10 pm CST):

• Hybrid Analog/Digital* (includes tape rental): $400 day**/$45 hr***
• 2” and ½” Analog (does NOT include tape cost/ call for tape price): $375 day**/$45 hr***
• Digital (ProTools): $300 day**/$35 hr***

After Hours Rates (for bookings between 10 pm-9 am CST):

• Hybrid Analog/Digital* (includes tape rental): $40 hr***
• 2” and ½” Analog (does NOT include tape cost/ call for tape price): $40 hr***
• Digital (ProTools): $30 hr***

* Includes tape machine calibration and setup, 5 Hour Minimum & based on availability
** 10 Hour Maximum
*** 3 Hour Minimum
