Filisko and Noden Live was recorded at Strobe Recording Studios in Chicago in January of 2006. Together Joe and Eric create an old time folk blues sound using the combination of guitar and harmonica. Joe's brilliant and versatile harmonica playing mixes perfectly with Eric's intricate fingerpicked guitar styles. The Filisko & Noden Duo specializes in playing 20's and 30's blues styles that aren't often heard these days. Just a few of Eric and Joe's influences are Big Bill Broonzy, Sonny Boy Williamson, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Big Joe Williams and Gwen Foster.
