Engineered by James Frederick Wagner and Kyle Schroeder at Strobe on Sept 16th, 2014. Thanks again to Sean Moeller at Daytrotter and Claus, Flynn and Phillip for a great session!
Strobe Recording is located in Humboldt Park, the neighborhood by the same name as the official Humboldt Park, a 200+ acre recreational space, which hosted Riotfest 2014.
Here we are in the studio recording drums and percussion with Joe Adamik, Colin McGeehan, Rebecca F. and James Frederick Wagner. We’re bringing together all the key components for the talented songwriter, Rebecca F., who is in Strobe Recording Studio working on her full-length album.
Congratulations to Rusty W Shackleford IV (AKA Ross Berman IV) on his new album! The Folk City Hustle was recorded by James Wagner at Strobe Recording in just four hours. Plus, Ross was the winner of the Strobe Singer Songwriter Showcase and used his 1/2 day of recording to record this 13 track album. Enjoy Ross and his stories, he’s a great songwriter!
